12월말까지 대규모 마라톤대회를 개최해온 중국이 새해 첫 국제대회를 연기했다.
매년 1월 첫 주말에 열리는 샤먼(하문) 마라톤대회는 대형대회로 우리에게도 잘 알려진 대회인데 대회를 불과 며칠 앞두고 행사를 연기했다.
대회 홈페이지에 따르면 당국의 권고에 따라 행사를 연기한다고 12월 30일 전격 발표했다. 대회를 불과 한 주도 남겨놓지 않은 시점에서의 발표다.
To all the runners,
Given the complicated situation of the COVID-19 at the moment and the difficulties of the containment, fully implement the notice issued by the State Council on December 30 in terms of the COVID-19 control and prevention in New Year and the Chinese Spring Festival, and to protect the health and safety of the participants of the Marathon, the Organizing Committee is hereby announce the following after careful discussion and consideration:
1. The Xiamen International Marathon 2021, which was scheduled to be held on Jan. 3rd, 2021, will be officially postponed. Please follow further notice from the Organizing Committee for the changed date of the competition.
2. All the qualification of the participants will be reserved by the Organizing Committee, and the registration fee will return through the original payment channel within 1 week as of the date of this announcement.
We would like to thank you for your support and care to Xiamen International Marathon all along. We sincerely apologize for the possible troubles caused by the postpone. We will continue our services and will post further notice if other news. We look forward to your continuous support to Xiamen Marathon.

현재 COVID-19의 복잡한 상황과 격리의 어려움을 감안할 때, 12월 30일 국무원에서 발표한 새해 COVID-19 통제 및 예방 및 춘절 축제 고시를 완전히 이행하고, 마라톤 참가자의 건강과 안전을 보호하기 위해 조직위원회는 신중한 논의와 고려를 거쳐 다음을 발표합니다.
1. 2021년 1월 3일로 예정된 '샤먼 국제 마라톤 2021'이 공식적으로 연기됩니다. 대회 날짜 변경에 대해서는 조직위원회의 추가 통지를 따르십시오.
2. 참가자의 모든 자격은 조직위원회에 의해 유보되며 참가비는 발표일로부터 1주일 이내에 원래 지불 채널을 통해 반환됩니다.
